Lisa La Torre
-In 1994, Lisa began working as a pop singer in local venues in Chieti. She then began studying the arts at Chieti’s Academy of Music Teatina.
-In 1997, after provincial and regional selections, Lisa participated in the national finals, which were held at the Lido delle Nazioni di Comacchio in the “Saranno Famose – Festival dei giovani - Premio internazionale ‘Teenager ragazze spettacolo’” contest, winning the title “Miss Teenager 1997 per la canzone (for the song)”.
-In 1998, Lisa made it to the semi-finals at “Festival di Castrocaro” and among the regional first contenders at the “Abruzzo in Festival” in Lanciano (Ch).
-In 1998 to 2000, Lisa participated and won many minor singing competitions, which were important for her training as a singer. In addition, she was asked to perform at numerous local events where important public figures were in attendance, such as: Natalia Estrada, Gabriel Garko, Federica Panicucci, Miriana Trevisan etc…
Studio Experience: In 1998, Lisa lent her talent to the recording of an internationally successful disco dance song.
Television Experience: In 2001, Lisa participated as a singer on the first edition of the show “Saranno Famosi” (the current “AMICI”) conducted by Maria De Filippi and Daniel Bossari.
In recent years: Lisa was chosen by the Artistic Direction (MUSIZA) to perform as the character Esmeralda in the well-known musical “Notre Dame de Paris”. Due to personal/family issues, Lisa was unable to accept the offer to participate in this wonderful project. After new selection, the same Artistic Direction chose Lisa once again, to portray the role of ‘Lucy’ in a new musical, which was to be titled “Dracula in Love”.
Lisa continued alternating her experiences performing as a soloist, as well as in bands and in the theatre. She collaborated with the “Live Orchestra” and also with Italian artists such as Dodi Battaglia and Antonella Ruggiero as well as Kurt Savoy (Spain), who lent his “whistle” to musical pieces by the great Ennio Morricone.
In 2012, the trio Supernova Italy Music was born and they continue to grow and improve with time due to their deep musical understanding and teamwork. Together, they are ready to face any repertoire. Each member of the trio has a different musical background and has studied different aspects of music, which allows them all to fit together perfectly. With diverse experiences spread out within the trio, their repertoire includes: jazz, disco, classic hits from the ‘60s and today’s top hits as well as classic Italian and international pieces. They also perform revised versions of songs and have rearranged them for live performances.
“Our goal is to make every event unique, providing a soundtrack to imprint in your memory. In the case of weddings, we enjoy customizing our repertoire and often succeed in our goal thanks to years of interest, passion, knowledge and a foundation in music. This allows us to meet any request at events, nationally and internationally. In fact, I think our versatility is one of our biggest assets. I have wonderful memories, for example, of a marriage where we felt that we were in perfect harmony (later mentioned in the well-known wedding magazine/blog, “Destination I DO” and also featured in the photographer Katya Nova’s blog, “Katya Nova Blog”), in which the spouses, Lillian (Puerto Rican) and Vincent (second generation Italian) of New York chose us as the soundtrack for their big day at a beautiful location in Italy: The party was unique and totally spectacular with guests from all over the world who had a terrific background in music (this meant a lot to us)… and they danced all night! Saxophone, vocals and guitar… together we have found the perfect combination and balance between work and passion for the true lovers of music and fun!”
